Environment

Andalo is a central gate to the chain of the Brenta Group (also known as Dolomiti di Brenta)., wich runs from North ti South for over 40 km and covers an area of almost 400 sq. km.

It is bounded, going clockwise, by the Sole and Non Valleys, by the Andalo saddle, by Molveno Lake, by the Sarca Valley and by Rendena and Meledrio Valleys; it is sorrounded by Mount Paganella in the East  and by the Presanella Group in the West.
Overlookin Trento and the Adige Valley with a majestic vertical face of over 1.000 metres, Mount Paganella offers, on the side of Andalo, woods and slopes to walkers, an inviting stairway up to heaven. One of the exceptional beauties of Mount Paganella is the wonderful view you can enjoy from his top, the "Roda" (2.125 mt).  A unique 360° view over Austrian Alps, Trentino, South Tyrol and the Po Valley up to the horizon line, where the crests of the mountains seem to be islands floating among the clouds. Thanks to his location, Andalo has a unique climate, comparable to both alpine and Mediterranean climate and characterized by cool air masses coming from the Non Valley and mild draughts coming from the Garda Lake. The result is a healthy climate, pleasant summers and snow-white winters. It's a matter of fact, here the snow never misses during the cold season. And snow means skiing, cross-country skiing, ski mountaineering. The origin and growth of Andalo are highly influenced by this winter sport, wich draws thousands of tourists  every year, coming from the whole Italy and foreign countries.
